GIS\Key - Version V.60 - Environmental Database Software
The GIS\Key Environmental Database is the validated and documented data archive that enables automated reporting and drawing. Think about the GIS\Key Environmental Database as holding all the pieces of environmental data you collect. The data management trick is making sure that the data is correct and defensible. Data management separates a database from a table or spreadsheet. The GIS\Key Environmental Database makes over 500 data integrity checks so that you know data is correct. 500 checks!
The GIS\Key Chemistry module is a comprehensive air, soil and water chemistry laboratory interface. With an advanced data management interface, the Chemistry module maintains relationships between primary samples, field and laboratory quality control data, field data collection and chemicals.
The GIS\Key Geology module manages geologic and borehole data including borehole geophysical and cone penetrometer test data (CPT). All data may be displayed using advanced drawing support.
The GIS\Key Hydrology module manages water-levels, floaters, sinkers, density, chemicals, and pumping rates.
The GIS\Key LabBuild is tool designed to process any flat laboratory electronic data reports (commonly known as EDDs) for completeness and correctness against your shared files (e.g. compound names and CAS Numbers) and project files (e.g. duplication). LabBuild makes about 150 integrity checks to each EDD record (read result) before building the data into your project or shared database.
Part of the EDD checks, LabBuild has an electronic Lab Build Review Tool. The Lab Build Review Tool checks primary, historical ranges, constituent alerts and QA/QC results in the EDD so you can check and report results from your EDD before you build.
