RTool is a versatile structural engineering collection of different design tools, that provides the following advantages:

  • object-oriented, context-sensitive working environment with an overview at one glance

  • RC-Design proofs according to EN 1992-1-1 with NAs for DE, AT, CZ/SK & UK incl. the adjustments for punching design from appendix 1 in DIN EN 1992-1-1 state 06/2012
  • Extension of the previous available design model (according to design booklet 399 DAfStb) for openings in rc-girders by an alternative design approach with strut-and-tie models (according to design booklet 459 DAfStb) for 'small' and 'large' openings

Collection of design tools under Windows® for engineering proofs with simple handling as well as graphically interactive input, calculation and output of the results. Some individual proofs also provide information and suggestions on the construction of the processed structural members. This particularly includes CAD drawings for the reinforcement. The collection contains the following engineering proofs for different materials, such as

Reinforced Concrete

  • morticed reinforced concrete beam with framework model according to Finger-loos/Stenzel
  • box out design in reinforced concrete beams (according to design booklet 399 or 459 DAfStb) incl. reinforcement suggestion
  • elastically bedded reinforced concrete beam with loss of bedding

Timber Construction
All verifications in timber construction are performed in accordance with DIN 1052:2004. All relevant proofs are performed also for structural fire design.
