Associate Safety and Health Manager (ASHM)
Associate Safety and Health Manager: Mid Level EHS Management Certification. Young professionals can put their career in EHS Management on fast-track by earning the ASHM credential. There’s no exam requirement and no application fee for graduates who apply within six months of graduation. The ASHM designation is an important stepping stone to the accredited CSHM certification. After earning ASHM, individuals have six years to pass the CSHM exam. Students earning a Bachelor’s Degree from an approved institution only have to demonstrate two years of experience, instead of four, in order to sit for the CSHM exam. With ASHM on your resume, you tell employers you’re serious about a career in EHS Management.
- Associate’s Degree in Safety related field plus four years of experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in ABET/Board Approved program equals automatic eligibility.
- “Valid Government Issued Identification” is required for Certification.
