DOT 49 CFR Hazardous Material Training

As detailed in the DOT Title 49 CFR (172.704), this training is mandatory for those involved in the hazardous material shipping process. Training is required every 3 years, with initial training to be received within 90 days of employment/change in job function. Format of the regulations, general requirements, UPS requirements, training requirements, security awareness, hazard classes, packing groups, use of the hazardous material table, hazardous substances, marine pollutants, identifying proper shipping names, non-specification and UN specification packaging requirements, exceptions and exemptions, marking, labeling, documentation, emergency response requirements, segregation, and placarding.
