To train individuals from industry and commerce in emergency First Aid techniques and the duties of a First Aid 'Appointed Person' as detailed in the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Duration: 1 Day (Approx 8 hrs)

Pre Requisites: None

Objectives:

  • To train individuals in the duties responsibilities laid down in the H&S (First Aid) Regs. 1981 for an Appointed Person
  • To satisfy by ongoing assessment the candidates competence to carry out basic life saving First Aid in the workplace until professional help arrives
