This course is certified by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA Course No. A17087) and is recognized by the Chartered Quality Institute as meeting the requirement for the Chartered Quality Institute's certification to PCQI. Class size is limited.
This rigorous five-day course teaches the trainee about the full ISO 9000 registration process, including auditing processes and supporting documentation. The course is built around a variety of learning techniques, many of which require student participation. The seminar concludes with a final examination. Successful completion of this course meets the training requirements for individuals seeking registration as a QMS Auditor or Lead Auditor. Other requirements include academic and practical experience. The course runs approximately 10 hours per day, with a two-hour exam on the fifth day.
All personnel involved in auditing ISO 9000 requirements. All delegates are expected to have some understanding of the content, application and implementation of the ISO 9000:2000 series of standard.

Before starting this course, delegates are encouraged to have the following prior knowledge: a) Knowledge of the following quality management principles and concepts: . The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle. . The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction. . Commonly used quality management terms and definitions and the 8 Quality Principles as given in ISO 9000. . The process approach used in quality management. . The Model of a Process Based Quality Management System, the structure and content of ISO 9001. b) Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, which may be gained by completing the ISO 9001:2008 Overview Course offered by PJI.
