This annual refresher training course is designed to cover the key training needs of an individual asbestos removal operative. The employer will complete an ARCA Training Needs Analysis (TNA) form indicating the areas of the operative’s knowledge of asbestos removal practices and procedures need updating or refreshing.
This training course provides the practical knowledge to understand management options; evaluate Asbestos Survey Reports and Pre-contract information for refurbishment projects; be aware of the options and processes for Asbestos Removal and/or Remediation and know how to evaluate and update Asbestos Management Plans.
This module provides the trainee with the practical knowledge and skills to be able to manage asbestos in buildings and a knowledge base to audit asbestos removal projects. Training is in accordance with all current HSE guidance and the BOHS syllabus. This proficiency module is recognised internationally.
