Emerging and evolving Title V and MACT regulations and issues will be a major focus of this course. Topics will include Title V operating permits, basic requirements of the Clean Air Act (NSR/PSD, BACT, NSPS), and EPA terminology and acronyms in air quality regulations.
This new ½-day course presents practical elements of complying with federal air quality regulations on Tribal Lands. The U.S. EPA NSR program for minor sources on Tribal Lands will be detailed, as well as federal permitting considerations for major NSR and Title V sources.
This course provides hands-on instruction using AERMOD, U.S. EPA’s preferred air quality dispersion models. It includes a brief theoretical review and emphasizes formulating and conducting an air quality analysis utilizing the refined model options.
