Leeds Beckett Sustainable Event Management Online Courses
In 2011 Positive Impact collaborated with Leeds Beckett (then known as Leeds Metropolitan) to create online education on sustainability. For Positive Impact this was one of our first collaborations with a university partner, creating education with CEU (Continuing Education Unit) credits and using online education platforms. The content and style of this course could now be described as outdated - a sign of the speed of change in both the online learning field and the sustainable event education field. For example, the basis of this course was BS8901, the British standard which was the basis for the creation of ISO 20121.
