You will need …

  • to have good knowledge of ISO 14001 and possess knowledge of environmental management principles and concepts including the concept of environmental sustainable development, the purpose of an initial review as the basis for establishing an EMS where none currently exists, and the evaluation of activities to establish environmental aspects associated with normal operating conditions
  • experience of auditing
  • ideally to have attended our ISO 14001 Appreciation and Interpretation course
  • to understand the basics of how organisations work and the role of top management
  • to complete approximately 2 hours of pre course work prior to attending the course

  • you have successfully completed an IRCA approved Lead Auditor course and wish to extend your knowledge and skills in auditing to encompass auditing of EMSs. The course covers the skills and knowledge required to conduct second and third party EMS audits effectively.
  • you want to satisfy the formal training requirements for IRCA certification

  • to have successfully completed an IRCA approved Lead Auditor course, or accepted equivalent if you wish to register as an EMS Auditor or Lead Auditor with IRCA. If you do not meet the above criteria, you need to attend our five day EMS Auditor/Lead Auditor course
  • to have good knowledge of ISO 14001 and possess knowledge of environmental management principles and concepts including the concept of environmental sustainable development, the purpose of an initial review as the basis for establishing an EMS where none currently exists, and the evaluation of activities to establish environmental aspects associated with normal operating conditions
  • extensive experience of auditing management systems
  • ideally to have attended our ISO 14001 Appreciation and Interpretation course
  • to complete approximately 2 hours of pre course work prior to attending the course
