Training Overview
Arc Flash Awareness
This program covers the Federal OSHA regulations which require arc flash protective PPE and clothing, the NFPA 70E and statistical data from the CDC/NIOSH on electrical injuries. Also covered is the interpretation of arc flash labels applied to equipment, including approach distances and boundaries. This program is designed to ensure employees are aware of the hazards, reduce the risk of working on or near energized equipment, as well as come into compliance with OSHA regulations.
CPR First Aid and AED for Adult & Children
This course is a combined adult, child, and infant CPR and AED program designed specifically for persons who are occupationally required or just desire to have CPR and AED knowledge and skills. The program is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.
NFPA 70E for Electrical Safety in the workplace
This safety course will assist the employer in meeting the safety training requirements of NFPA 70E for a qualified person. This course will focus on the NFPA 70E with additional information on the hazards of electrical shock, arc, and blast along with the selection requirements for personal protective equipment for these hazards. The NFPA 70E requirements for electrical safety- related work practices, which include the 'Flash Hazard Analysis', are covered in detail.
