OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Online Training Courses
OSHA Institute of America is a leading provider for online safety training courses. The OSHA accepted 30 hour outreach training courses were designed for supervisors, foremen, committee members, and employees to educate students on the Occupational Safety and Health Act and OSHA standards that affect them and their workplaces. OSHA 30 hour courses are designed as a more in-depth training program give students a comprehensive understanding of the hazards and safety precautions that individuals should be aware of while working on a job site. The online OSHA 30 hour courses are OSHA accepted, valid in all 50 states, and valid across many industries. Upon completion, students will receive a temporary 30 hour certificate of completion and in 6-8 weeks, will receive an official Department of Labor (DOL) card.
GHS and OSHA Hazardous Communication
Workers are exposed to hazardous chemicals daily in the workplace. Such conditions pose a serious health threat to the worker. OSHA requires training regarding chemical hazards in the workplace. In this course you will learn about the HazCom (Hazardous Communication) Standard and the new Globally Harmonized System (GHS), and how to use Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and chemical labels to protect yourself from hazards or react to chemical exposures. Employees must be trained regarding GHS by December 13, 2013.
This course gives you a basic understanding of how to deal with hazardous chemicals and how workers can prevent and protect themselves from chemical hazards.

The OSHA 30 hour Outreach training will keep you prepared for the hazards and potentially dangerous situations that may arise on the job site. OSHA Outreach will give you the necessary information and to manage tools and equipment safely to keep your team and yourself safe.Students have 6 months to complete the course and may take the final exam up to three times. Completing this course will meet the requirements to maintain compliance with the workplace safety OSHA standards.
