Prepared Response offers customized training for groups of all sizes as well as services designed to support exercises and drills. Our innovative teaching methods will help those personnel who have a primary role in safety planning and are available with focused content for their facility or other public/private sector audiences, as appropriate.
AFETY PLANNING & CRISIS COMMUNICATION
The safety planning and crisis communication course provides personnel with tools to better respond to emergency situations. The course will describe basic concepts in planning, including the critical elements of a comprehensive and successful safety plan, best practices in the conduct and analysis of systematic safety assessments, methods for performance of physical security reviews, and the principles of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED). Using NIMS terminology, participants will learn how to shape planning efforts utilizing findings derived from hazard and vulnerability assessments. The course concludes with a discussion of training activities and the incorporation of risk management practices into routine operations.

PREPARING YOUR TEAMS WITH TABLETOPS & DRILLS
Participants who complete this course will understand the value and basis for testing and exercising emergency response plans, and will learn the characteristics of various types of activities and exercises. Additionally, the course will present methods for developing exercise scenarios and how to incorporate safety training into staff meetings, daily operations and standard emergency drills.

PERFORMING VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENTS & SECURITY/SAFETY AUDITS
Participants learn how to perform vulnerability assessments and methods to better focus safety and security planning efforts. Techniques central to the performance of security and safety audits will be presented. Participants will also learn to analyze and compare sequential reports for the purpose of establishing baselines and projecting trends.
