The Approved Code of Practice and Guidance L8 requires staff to undergo training and regular refresher training as an integral aspect of competence.

The courses are delivered by an experienced trainer who has over 30 years experience of working within the Water Treatment Industry and who will use case studies and real life situations to ensure that you understand the risks from Legionella and how to control the risks that are required under the current UK legislation.
CCS offer an Open Course for all personnel involved in the control of Legionella. The following subjects are covered in the course:

CCS also offer a Managers Course. This course has been designed to assist responsible persons (a Manager, Director or someone with similar status or authority) and their deputies in ensuring that they comply with their duties as described in ACoP L8. Acceptance on this course is subject to having already attended Legionella Awareness, or equivalent course.
