The one-day course fully satisfies the training requirements established both in the MTSA implementing regulations, section 104.220 of 33 Code of Federal Regulations, and in section B13.3 of the ISPS Code.
The course offers a blend of up-to-date threat information, effective security practices, and accurate regulatory provisions, delivered through a balance of lectures, multimedia presentations, interactive activities, group exercises, and knowledge assessment. The course includes relevant training on the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) regulations.
Those who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. They will also be awarded .8 Continuing Education Units by Florida Institute of Technology.
