AGF PURGEnVENT 7930 Air Vent - Video
To help reduce pipe corrosion, NFPA 13, 2016 edition added a requirement that all wet sprinkler systems include an air vent. The newest addition to the AGF PURGEnVENT product line is the 7930 ECA end cap automatic air venting valve. Deciding on the ideal placement of this air vent is simple because it comes pre-assembled and is easily coupled to the end of the line near a high point with a grooved connection.
The 7930 is available in sizes ranging from 1-1/2 inches to 8 inches. The integrated 7900AAV includes an isolation valve, barrel strainer and only requires 5 inches of clearance above the pipe. It also reduces labor costs by facilitating faster system filling and draining.
Like all of AGF's PURGEnVENT products, the 7930 ECA enjoys the benefits associated with our unique and patented conical shaped automatic air vent, and better still, remains code complaint without a drain line, drip pan, or redundancy for water leaks. The AGF PURGEnVENT 7900V is UL Listed, FM Approved and approved by the California State Fire Marshal.
