Origins.

It started as a simple idea in a small farm shed in Central West, NSW.

As a young 15 year old school boy, founder David McNab first envisaged Davimac, and by 1982 he was building chaser bins for local farmers out of an old shed on a farm west of Molong, NSW.

A huge demand for his bins meant that by 1989, a new larger factory was needed and a custom-built manufacturing facility was established in Wellington Street on the outskirts of town.

Handover and expansion.

At the age of 16, Dave`s son Shannon, on agreement with his father, left school early to train as a Fitter and Turner. After completing his apprenticeship and at the age of 20, Shannon made his first big move by buying his first share in the family business.

He worked hard looking for innovative new designs to optimise farming practices, and by 25, he was running the entire operation! Over the next decade Shannon expanded Davimac`s offerings to include a new successful line of seed drills and established a trusted Dealer network.
