How water utility EPM controlled algae with the MPC-Buoy
In order to control algae in their drinking water reservoir, Colombian water utility EPM (Empresas Publicas de Medellin) installed 8 LG Sonic MPC-Buoy systems. These systems monitor and controls algae in large water surfaces by using LG Sonic ultrasound technology. The sound waves from the systems are save for humans, fish, plants and other aquatic life.
