Scarlet Tech TWL-1S Heat Stress Monitor - Basic Operation Video
In this video, Air-Met Scientific's Peter Shiels demonstrates the basic operations of the Scarlet Tech TWL-1S Personal Heat Stress Monitor.
The TWL-1S Heat Stress Monitor has been designed to prevent heat stroke and heat related illnesses for workers in both indoor and outdoor working environments. The TWL-1S Heat Stress Monitor is designed to measure TWL otherwise known as Thermal Work Limit which is an integrated measure of the dry bulb and wet bulb temperatures, wind speed and radiant heat.
The TWL value predicts the maximum work level that can be carried out in a given environment without workers exceeding a safe core body temperature.
