Can this system work in pre-treatament aeration ponds in a tiertary treatment plant where filtration an UV disinfection is the final step. Will the cholera microbes survive the media filtration and UV chamber?

Yes. this can work in aeration ponds. the chlorella can work well with sand filters. the UV if intense would kill the chlorella. but you need not necessarily need to have UV to disinfect. We have green ways to take care of coliforms. Fish and or up flow sand filters can disinfect in a green way.
