Zero Liquid Discharge Mine Water Treatment Plant | A Walking Tour Video

Saltworks’ latest SaltMaker Evaporator Crystallizer is currently being shipped to a mine in the Canadian arctic where mine water shaft will be treated to achieve zero liquid discharge (ZLD). The produced salts will be reused to desalt the mine. Megan Low and Ben Sparrow give a walking tour of the SaltMaker, guiding you through various parts of the plant.

The SaltMaker Evaporator Crystallizer is a reliable and cost-effective evaporative crystallizer that can help you meet discharge requirements. Its multiple operating modes give you the option of running the machine as an evaporator to reduce the volume of liquid waste or as a crystallizer to produce dry solid waste. With multiple effects that recycle heat energy and the option to use waste heat, the SaltMaker slashes your energy costs.
