Harden Shredding Technology for Metal-processing Industry

Harden Shredding Technology for Metal-processing IndustryMetal waste may be comes from the metal-processing industry, automotive industry, electronics industry, waste industry or commercial production, we will always offer you the right shredding system for recycling your valuable resources! The processing of scrap metal is strongly related to steelworks and, therefore, it becomes fundamental to deliver uniform material with a high specific weight. Harden scrap metal shredders are perfect parallel to shearing machines for volume reduction, hence qualifying the material as shovelable, but are also applicable upstream of the hammer mills, facilitating the work in terms of safety, wear and electricity consumption. The main fields of application are: • Light waste collection • Collection in packages • Unmodified or packaged automobiles (including with engine) • Rolling mill trimmings • Sheet metal • Oversized metal items (cabinets, etc.)

Recycling equipments for electronic waste recycling (WEEE)

The content of WEEE (electrical and electronic waste) gives recyclers various initiatives for recycling. It contains hazardous substances, such as lead, mercury or certain flame retardants, as well as precious metals like gold and silver. In 2012 approx. 64,900.000 ton electronic goods where produced and 49.000.000 ton electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) was generated. As the amount of sold electronic goods rise, the amount of WEEE rises. It is vital that this waste is taken care of properly.

Waste Sorting - CRT Glass Sorting

End of life TV sets and computer monitors require to be recycled to maximise the level of material recovery, and to meet the requirements of the EU WEEE Directive. CRT glass is the largest item by weight. However, because of the 2 different types of glass used in CRT manufacture, the glass fractions have to be sorted to achieve a separation of the 2 type of glass, i.e. panel glass sorted from funnel glass. X-TRACT separator is able to sort the panel glass from the funnel glass. It does it by comparing their different atomic densities, and analysing the data from the X-Rays using a bi-chromatic sensor system. X-TRACT is the first industrial application for any dry mechanical density sorting.

Recycling equipments for shredding & reducing medical waste

Shredding and reducing medical waste poses special challenges. Processing must meet stringent regulatory standards for the safe handling of infectious and red bag waste, including precise size reduction to ensure proper sterilization. In addition, the waste is comprised of many different materials, ranging from sharps to textiles, requiring shredders that can effectively process the variety of materials.

Intelligent compliance solutions for electronics and medical devices

Few industries face the mounting challenges and scrutiny of expanding environmental compliance requirements, ecological mandates, consumer expectations and NGO watch groups as much as electronics and medical device manufacturers. Even before the Sony PlayStation cadmium crisis, the entire supply chain has been inundated by an ever-expanding myriad of legislation, ranging from the EU Directives on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) and the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) to US legislation on conflict minerals. The depth and amount of information that suppliers must access, evaluate, compile, integrate and disclose is growing exponentially.

Recycling equipment for shredding electronic scrap (E-scrap)

Processing electronic scrap (E-Scrap or WEEE) presents special challenges. Computers, consumer electronics, and IT equipment need to be destroyed to extract recyclables or ensure the security and complete destruction of the product. Hard drives, tapes and data storage devices must be completely destroyed to provide data security. And, while many electronic scrap items do not require the specific size reduction that hard drives or other data storage devices require, all electronic scrap includes recoverable materials that can be recycled for future use. As a result, separation and recovery are critical elements of the shredding process for electronic materials.
