This concentrated course is designed for those who have been tasked with establishing and implementing a Health and Safety Management System (H&SMS) that is compliant to the OHSAS 18001:2007 Standard. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the purpose of an OHSAS 18001-compliant H&SMS and the steps that will be necessary in establishing and implementing an effective H&SMS. The course will also provide best practices for establishing an important part of the H&SMS – the internal audit program. The course materials assume that those in attendance have not received prior training on the OHSAS 18001 Standard.
