ABUTEC Storage Tank Flares achieve 99.9% DRE!
ABUTEC is pleased to announce the completion of industry leading emission testing on the ABUTEC Enclosed Combustor, model MTF 2.7, capable of combusting 100 mcfd (69 scfm) of 2400 btu/ft3 vapors.  The MTF 2.7 Enclosed Combustor achieved an outstanding 99.9% Destruction Efficiency throughout the entire range of operation.   The test was conducted in accordance with EPA 60.18 and the unit was tested at 30%, 50%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% load capacities.  The goal was to determine the combustor DRE% efficiency and TCEQ/EPA 40 CFR 60.18 compliance (no flame impingement) while preliminarily ...
