Aanderaa`s coastal research offering includes a variety of shallow water sensors and instruments to be deployed either real-time or autonomous. In coastal research, Aanderaa offers reliable, compact, low-power consuming, and user-friendly sensors and systems measuring a wide range of parameters at the highest quality. We offer "Smart Sensors" to measure Currents, Oxygen, Conductivity/Salinity/Density, Wave/Tide, Vented Wave/Tide, and Pressure. All smart sensors have in-built high-quality temperature sensors and deliver absolute readings.
The sensors can be connected directly to a PC or a third-party data logger using serial communication. Sensors can also be "plug-and-play" connected to a sensor network using an Aanderaa developed CAN-bus communication called AiCaP.
SeaGuard II DCP is our multisensor current profiler specially adapted for coastal research. The SeaGuard platform is the logger unit for all other parameters. SeaGuard underwater loggers can host more than 20 smart sensors, placed in, e.g., up to 300 m long sensor stings, and four analog sensors (e.g., for Turbidity, Chlorophyll, PAR, Cyanobacteria). SmartGuard land and buoy-based loggers open additional possibilities for the integration of meteorological and third-party sensors.
RCM Blue is an easy-to-use instrument with Bluetooth communication for set-up and data download. It is dedicated to measuring currents and optional pressure at the highest quality at an affordable price.
We have modern, reliable technology for online communication and years of experience in offering real-time solutions.
Aanderaa has from the very beginning been known for its capability of supplying complex system solutions – often with a combination of submersible sensors and sensors in air, real time transfer of data via radio, GPRS or satellite and the data displayed on a single screen or via a web server.
The sensor platform may be a submersible data logger, a Current Meter or a Data Buoy on the surface.
The SmartGuard data logger is a versatile data logger that combines data from submersible sensors as well as sensors on land. The logger accepts different data formats from Aanderaa sensors as well as from sensors made by other suppliers.
