Aeration lane air controls is most imperative as lower or no air supply causes bacterial death due starvation for oxygen & inefficient treatment whereas very high air supply increases too much bacterial growth in-turn bacteria gets hungry and dies & also increase energy cost. Thermal mass flow meters comes handy for optimizing aeration control by measuring aeration air flow to address the need to control oxygen flow rate requirement for optimizing BOD & Energy cost in Effluent Water Treatment Plant.

Insertion thermal mass flow meter requires virtually NO maintenance. They are simpler to install and save blower/compressor energy cost. The meter provides direct mass flow rate measurement with highest turndown ratio, No pressure drop, accuracy and repeatability work well for this application against DP Type flow sensors such Averaging Pitot tube or Orifice.
