Plastic Random Packing for Air Scrubbing - Air and Climate
The process of removing unwanted pollutants from a gas stream. Industrial exhaust is moved through a specifically designed vessel typically referred to as a scrubber. The scrubber uses liquid to wash unwanted pollutants from a gas stream. Scrubber designs can vary greatly depending on the type of pollutant being removed from the gas stream, the percentage of removal required and the amount of gas moving through the scrubber. Typically scrubber designs include internals such as random packing, mist eliminators, packing supports, bed limiters, liquid distributors and feed pipes. The materials of construction are determined based on operating temperatures and corrosiveness of the gas stream.
