Water Treatment Solutions for Iron removal - Water and Wastewater

Iron removal is usual water treatment when using ground water as raw water for making potable water. For this SansOx has delivered a solution called IroX that consists of OxTube, possibly GasRemox and sand filters. This solution can be installed into separate container or inside of the pump house. Both systems can be installed also afterwards to the water system.

Either compressed air or free breathing of air is used to increase the DO in the water and this transfers the dissolved Fe2+ into Fe3+ precipitated for and sand filter will then filter the iron from the water. GasRemox can help to remove the unwanted gases that are separed when aerating the water with OxTube.
