What is acid gas?

Acid Gas Removal Process

Activated carbon adsorption is used to treat acid waste gas. After the activated carbon is saturated, steam is used to desorb and regenerate it. The exhaust gas contains a certain amount of acid waste gas. Therefore, pretreatment must be carried out before the waste gas enters the activated carbon adsorption device. Otherwise, the waste gas enters the activated carbon adsorption device. It will cause unnecessary trouble and even make the activated carbon invalid. The pretreatment adopts alkali washing spray + secondary wet scrubber + activated carbon adsorption equipment.
Acid gas scrubber
Acid gas scrubber 1 is a spray washing packed tower, and the internal spray heads and packing layers are alternately distributed. The filler has a large specific surface area and is used to increase the contact area between the two fluids. Exhaust gas enters from the bottom, passes through the packing layer and demister, and is discharged from the top. The liquid is pumped to the nozzle to be sprayed out, falls down, and returns to the water tank through the packing layer. Add lye to the circulating water to neutralize the acid mist in the exhaust gas to achieve the purpose of interception. The impurities in the water tank need to be cleaned regularly, and the sewage needs to be discharged regularly. The purpose of setting up the alkali washing tower here is mainly to remove acid mist and some water-soluble substances.
Secondary wet scrubber
It has the same structure as the acid gas scrubber, further removes the particulate matter in the exhaust gas, and at the same time cleans the lye brought out by the front-end equipment.
Activated carbon adsorption equipment
In order to prevent dust and water vapor from entering the activated carbon adsorption device system, to ensure that the air source of the treatment system is clean, free of particles and water mist; the filter frame is made of PP plastic plate with frame and frame, and the filter material is inserted inside. The filter is installed on PP Inside the plastic box, replace it regularly. The filter material adopts honeycomb activated carbon or activated carbon particles, which has the characteristics of large ventilation, small resistance, and large dust holding capacity; the filter section is equipped with a differential pressure gauge (pointer type), and when the internal pressure difference of the equipment exceeds 300-350Pa, it prompts to clean or replace;
Adsorption gas process: the acid waste gas to be treated is drawn out from the air duct and then enters the activated carbon adsorption device.
