Compressors

Semi-hermetic SCREW COMPRESSOR with start delta start mode and three regulation steps (50-75-100%) and oil injection.

REFRIGERANT ECONOMIZER: reduces energy consumption and improves the efficiency of chiller by increasing the liquid subcooling temperature.

This system includes a plate heat exchanger (the economizer) and the economizer line, composed of a solenoid valve, thermostatic expansion valve and isolation valve for each refrigerant circuit.

Oil Separators

OIL SEPARATORS are needed on the discharge line in order to separate the oil from the refrigerant. The oil then is returned on the suction line of compressor to maintain proper lubrification of the compressor. Oil separator has an internal reserve oil capacity that can be used if compressor signals low oil level which activates the opening of a dedicated solenoid valve that allow the oil return.

OIL COOLING CIRCUITS is composed by an external plate exchanger where water from the inlet of the condenser is used to cool the oil from compressor. This system is automatically regulated by the oil temperature so when a set temperature is reached the water flow is enabled inside the plate exchanger, otherwise all the water flow inside the condenser.

SHELL AND TUBE EVAPORATOR

Process fluid 45% ethylene glycol, inlet temperature -15°C, exit temperature -20°C with special material for low temperature application (special steel to increase fracture resistance).

SHELL ANDTUBE CONDENSERS

Nominal water flow each 88m3/h. Nominal pressure losses 56kPa
Process fluid 45% ethylene glycol, inlet temperature +30°C, exit temperature +35°C with water flanged connections. To regulate the condensation the flow is regulated with a 2 way pressostatic valve in order to adjust the flow to match the change of condensation pressure
