THE CHALLENGE
Our client, a North Sea operator, required an innovative solution to retain all free-moving liquids generated by the cleaning processes during an offshore work scope. Such work can potentially pose issues in terms of liabilities and waste disposal as well as personnel and equipment footprint on an asset.
HOW WE HELPED:
By working in close collaboration with the main waste services contractor, Muehlhan, we reviewed the wastes involved on behalf of the operator. Taking account of the limited footprint on the asset, the collaboration assessed and developed the optimum support package required to ensure the desired results were ultimately realised.
THE RESULTS:
Upon completion, significant volumes of liquids were recovered from the pre-inspection cleaning/decontamination processes and successfully treated on a single pass of the system. The equipment and system installation were delivered on time, within budget and with zero LTI’s.
