High Density Welded Pond Liners for Aquaculture Farm in Zimbabwe - Case Study
Welded pond liners are referred to the HDPE geomembrane pond liner that are welded to connect together as the anti seepage lining system. BPM HDPE pond liner has excellent waterproof properties, good heat resistance, cold resistance, stable chemical properties. As the density increases, the mechanical properties and barrier properties will increase accordingly. The heat resistance and tensile strength are also higher, the HDPE welded pond liners are resistant to acid, alkali, organic solvents and other corrosion. Geomembrane pond liners can withstand rain erosion and sun exposure, and in addition, it must be able to withstand large external factors such as complex geological movements, strong pressure, and stretching. Geomembrane welded pond liners can better prevent bacteria and chemical action, acid, alkali, salt corrosion, long service life, and bring good safety to the project.
BPM team received an inquiry from a customer from Zimbabwe. The customer had farm pond project. BPM team recommended a 0.75mm HDPE geomembrane pond liner to the customer. The customer wanted to reduce the cost and took 0.5mm geomembrane as the option, and the customer gave the BPM team an engineering video. There are a total of 6 ponds with an area of about 10,000 square meters, there are many relatively large rocks at the bottom of the pond. BPM team analyzed the customer’s video. According to the ponds, we still recommended 0.75mm geomembrane welded pond liner. After confirming the quality of the sample, the customer finally reached agreement with us and placed the order.
