How to test an o2 sensor?

SHARE
Aug. 24, 2023- By: Fosensor

1. Circuit detection: Check whether the o2 sensor circuit is connected normally and whether the voltage is stable

2. Oxygen concentration detection: use a standard oxygen cylinder or an oxygen analyzer to measure the concentration of oxygen, and compare it with the reading of the oxygen sensor.

3. Temperature and humidity detection Ensure that the oxygen sensor is measured under normal temperature and humidity conditions, because too high or too low temperature and humidity will affect the accuracy of the oxygen sensor.

4. Replace the oxygen sensor If the above test results show that the oxygen sensor is damaged or unstable, you can consider replacing the oxygen sensor to ensure the accuracy of the measurement

5. Clean the oxygen sensor: If there is dust or dirt on the oxygen sensor, you can use a cloth or air blow to clean the oxygen sensor

6. Replace the filter element: If the oxygen sensor is used for online oxygen monitoring, the filter element needs to be replaced according to the specified cycle. It should be noted that the oxygen sensor is very sensitive. It is necessary to adjust the environment to ensure a stable environment and avoid the influence of excessive temperature, humidity and vibration
