Challenge:
The agency responsible for overseeing oil and gas operations in the Gulf of Mexico needed a reliable, centralized web-based solution for managing, monitoring, and reporting emissions data resulting from oil and gas operations in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska. In addition, the agency required the ability to conduct complex air quality studies using AERMOD and CALPUFF. Given the vast area and complex operational logistics, they required a tool that could streamline offshore operator participation in the mandated annual survey program.
