Dosch is supporting the “Taurus” project in Uruguay
Finnish cellulose and wood producer UPM is building a new eucalyptus cellulose plant with a capacity of 2.1 million metric tonnes in the vicinity of Paso de los Toros in the middle of Uruguay. The factory is scheduled to start production by the end of March 2023. Besides the construction of the new plant, the total investment amounting to USD 3 billion also includes a new cellulose terminal in the port of Montevideo as well as various investments in local facilities in Paso de los Toros.
