The model IR2303 is well-suited for calibrating infrared thermometers operating above ambient temperature, capable of handling temperatures up to 500 °C [932 °F]. This portable infrared calibrator offers exceptional stability, making it an ideal choice for calibrating handheld infrared thermometers. Featuring a generously sized black body, the IR2302 accommodates a wide range of infrared thermometers, regardless of the lenses they use. The calibrator's fixed emissivity value of 0.95 ensures consistent and accurate calibration results. Temperature adjustments can be made in precise increments of 0.1 °C. To facilitate verification of the black body's accuracy, a bore is positioned directly behind its surface. This design enables contact-based measurements and allows for real-time quality monitoring during the calibration process.
