Project - Cementownia Ozarow - Integrated system of cement loading
In 2016, together with ESW Test company from Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, we provided a comprehensive system of cement distribution and loading in Ozarów cement plant. The system runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and it is a critical element of the cement plant’s operation. The system supports from 300 to 450 vehicles per day.

Entry to the Plant
Driver receives a text message sent from the SAP system and containing a unique PIN. Upon one’s arrival in the plant, the driver enters the PIN on the self-service terminal. The terminal’s display shows details of the delivery. The driver accepts the OHS regulations and is allowed to enter the plant. Communication with the SAP system takes place and photos are taken during the terminal operation.
Bulk Cement Loading
After entering the plant, the truck enters one of 5 truck scales where, using a self-service terminal, the process of cement loading is started. Before the loading starts, the system verifies if the data entered are correct (e.g. cement type, position number).
After the loading has been completed, the vehicle goes to the self-service stations at the plant’s exit gate.

Having entered the plant, the vehicle goes to the pallets loading site. Using a mobile terminal, a forklift truck operator enters the vehicle’s plate number and loads it with the goods as specified on the terminal’s display.
After the loading has been completed, the vehicle goes to the self-service stations at the plant’s exit gate.

Departure from the Plant
After the loading has been completed, the vehicle goes to one of two exit stations. Using a self-service terminal, the driver enters its PIN - the GVM is checked, data are verified and the transport is posted in the SAP system. After the data have been posted in SAP, weighing tickets are printed, the barrier is lifted and the vehicle may leave the plant.
