The Sasol Germany GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, is a leading supplier of surfactants, fatty alcohols, solvents and high purity alumina. Sasol’s production facility in Brunsbuettel, Germany manufactures 140 KT per year of fatty alcohols use for detergents, cleaners, cosmetics and approximately 45 KT per year of high-purity alumina used for catalysts, abrasives, coatings. Sasol implemented Pavilion’s online monitoring and prediction software, developing a mathematical process model to predict product quality variables.
