Select the most suitable nitrogen separation method for your industrial nitrogen project

Cryogenic Nitrogen Separation Method
Cryogenic air separation technology is a traditional nitrogen production technology. Liquefied the compressed and purified air into the liquid air by the method of heat exchange,then reach the purpose of nitrogen separation by distillation method by using of the different boiling points of different liquefied gases. Cryogenic air separation equipment not only covers a large area, has high capital construction,equipment costs and operating costs, and strict installation requirements, but also has slow nitrogen production speed and long cycle. Therefore, in terms of cost and convenience, it is more suitable for large-scale industrial nitrogen production.

Membrane air separation technology also known as hollow fiber membrane separation technology.Under certain pressure, nitrogen separation is realized by utilizing the different permeability characteristics of oxygen and nitrogen in the membrane.
Compared with others nitrogen generation technology,membrane air separation technology has the advantages of simpler structure, smaller volume, less maintenance, faster gas production speed, and more convenient expansion.
However, membrane nitrogen separation technology has an obvious disadvantage, that is, when used to produce nitrogen with purity higher than 99.5%, the cost of nitrogen production is much higher than use carbon molecular sieve for nitrogen separation.
