As part of WRAP’s work upscaling farm food waste measurement in the UK, we delivered nine projects with supply chain businesses and developed corresponding case studies for each to address on-farm food surplus and waste.

In this case study, we follow the journey of Stonegate Farms and its producers as they assess opportunities for free range egg waste reduction in England.

“The project confirmed that our waste levels are fairly low but also brought to light many interesting findings, including variability between farms and interpretation of specification which gives us some useful topics to follow up on.”
