TECTA B16 Success Story - SINOPEC/ China Petroleum - Case Study

Baling Petrochemical Plant is a large-scale petrochemical complex with a history of more than 40 years of integrating oil, chemical, fiber and fertilizer, and is a subsidiary of Sinopec, also known as China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation. The plant is located in Yunxi District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, adjacent to the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway. The factory includes tens of thousands of employees and family members, working and living within the community.

The facility has its own water supply plant and the Quality Inspection Team performs the routine analysis of source water and drinking water, for E.coli, total coliforms, and thermotolerant coliforms bacteria.
