Safety First: Water Main Repair DVD

The program will follow the standard “Safety First” format and present proper preparation techniques and safe use of the equipment. Viewers will learn how to prepare the equipment needed for work and the proper procedures for preventing and limiting exposure to potentially fatal injury.

The program will cover:

-Avoiding injury to water utility workers and contractors
-Initial traffic zone deployment, day and night, regardless of environmental conditions
-Initial marking, trenching and excavation including soil assessment and work boxes
-Working with large machinery including backhoes and bobcats
-Post-completion backfill and bedding safety and restoration of traffic lanes

In addition to the DVD,a CD with PowerPoint slides, speaker`s notes for trainers, and a quiz is included, for a complete training program.
