On 12 April 2018, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a press release of the availability of a new “Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Substance Inventory.” 
 
The inventory is one of a kind, and reflects the new requirements under the amended law, i.e. active designations. Inactive designations will be published once the reporting exercise is finalized.
