Water Authorities require their own specific swabbing, flushing and disinfection of any new water supply to a site/building. At 4i Water Services we are able to carry out these works to their specification and insure that the sampling results pass their strict requirements.We carry out pressure testing of the pipework and fittings using the latest data logging instrumentation which in turns insures a guaranteed pass from the local Water Authority.

4i Water Services carries out pre-commissioning and flushing to BSRIA BG/11 for LTHW and chilled systems. All 4i WS chemicals used will be suitably chosen for the system which include biocides, dispersants, oxide removers and bio-dispersants.

4i Water Services provides the expertise for all remedial works needed and ensure that they are completed in accordance with Acop L8 and BS8558:2011.

At 4i Water Services we use our own in house accredited testers to carry out installations, commissioning and testing in accordance with WRAS AIM-08-01. Annual testing of the valve must be carried out with a test certificate being sent to the local Water Authority.

The aim of a Legionella Risk Assessment should be to assess and record the extent, condition, design and management of all water systems within a property. It should assess and describe the risk of bacterial contamination by Legionella species, the potential for the bacteria to multiply and the potential for this to infect people with Legionnaires` Disease. The assessment should allow the site management to instigate the required remedial actions to reduce any perceived immediate risk and to implement a control regime to manage the risk long term.

4i Water Services offers an array of onsite analysis using the latest calibrated testing equipment which gives you the required information without the delay. Analysis for specific bacteria is carried out at a UKAS accredited Laboratory on behalf of 4i Water Services..

Where a risk from legionella has been previously identified, usually from a technical survey and report, a regime of control is required. At 4iWS we believe that the level and frequency of the regime should reflect the risk level. We initially work with our client to establish an agreed programme and then provide suitably qualified and experienced staff to undertake the required duties. We are also happy to work alongside the clients own personnel by providing audit services and required monitoring paperwork and log books.
