Clean Water Act Services
This program in Arizona is administered by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) and has become a `legal` emphasis of the state regulatory compliance permitting program. The two main permits of the Clean Water Act that affect the construction industry are Section 402, stormwater pollution discharges related to construction activity, and Section 404, dredge and fill activities affecting jurisdictional delineated waters of the United States. Almost every ground disturbing project requires a CWA permit before activity is allowed to begin and failure to procure the appropriate CWA permit(s) can lead to significant financial setbacks for the developer. 6K SWPPP works hard to stay in touch with regulatory changes and our specialty is helping you meet your compliance needs. This valuable service allows you to focus on your core business with peace of mind.
SWPPP & Erosion Control Services
Section 402 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) involves Stormwate. Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and Best Management Practices (BMPs). They are required for construction and land disturbance activities and the records must be kept for 3 years after project completion. 6K SWPPP can author site specific, comprehensive SWPPPs, design the Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCPs) and recommend the most effective BMPs for your project. 6K SWPPP also offers an archival service for SWPPP documents to protect your project`s audit.
Inspections Services
The inspection process is one of the most effective tools in keeping your project regulatory compliant. However, this is an area where most projects fail during a regulatory inspection and audit. 6K SWPPP conducts diligent and thorough SWPPP and BMP inspections. Our experienced understanding of BMPs will help you avoid installation errors and assure you that the correct BMPs are installed in the correct locations. Since we do not contract for the installation of BMPS, we have no self-interest in recommending incorrect and expensive treatments for your project. This effective service allows your project to stay on schedule and lowers the project risk oi receiving delays and costs associated with (red tag) work stoppages.
Fugitive Dust Control Services
Fugitive dust control is a high priority in the southwest on land disturbance and construction sites. The civil fines for control failures on your site are steadily increasing every year. 6K SWPPP can consult and recommend the best method to keep your project in compliance by tailoring specific, ergonomic, and sustainable control methods for the life of your project.
