Facility Decontamination
A&D conducts full facility decontamination projects on a regular basis for a wide array of industries such as foundries, engineered wood, paper mills, chemical plants, petroleum plants, and resin manufacturers. In addition, transportation and disposal services are available with a licensed fleet of transport vehicles.
Pumping Services
A&D provides vacuum and pumping service using specialized equipment for the bulk handling of liquid and solid dry materials. Our fully trained personnel meet OSHA standards and operate the equipment. This process is used to remove materials from oil/water separators, sumps, drains, ponds, and other wet/dry applications.Remediation services
Excavation and Removal of Underground Storage Tanks and Contaminated Soil
A&D’s professional tank management services include complete product removal and gas freeing, including all associated waste or product transportation, disposal or recycling services for residential or commercial tanks of any size. Tank removal or in-place closure services are available if needed. The tanks are cleaned or de-gassed, and removed tanks are transported and disposed of as recycled materials. A&D provides remediation services if contamination is discovered during the tank closure process for any size or degree of complexity and operates in complete accordance with state, local and federal Guidelines.
Demolition And Shoring
A&D provides services for construction activities to include demolition and sheeting/shoring. The proper equipment and fully trained personnel are experienced in performing complete facility demolitions, including transportation and disposal related services in virtually all areas of business.Emergency response
Chemical Spill Cleanup
A&D’s emergency response vehicles are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE), pumps, tank repair kits, cold cutting equipment, hot tap and other equipment necessary to handle a variety of spills. Our Emergency Response Equipment Unit is stocked with pumps, valves and repair kits, and containment supplies to handle responses on land, waterways or rail. The facility maintains a stocked inventory that complements the mobile inventory and may be mobilized to a larger incident as the need arises.
24 – Hour Emergency Response Services
A&D has numerous “Emergency Response Agreements” with manufacturers, local municipalities and other governmental agencies and regularly responds to weekly requests for assistance. Personnel have over 130years of combined experience in providing emergency response services. Through an effective emergency communications network, A&D can provide 24-hour immediate emergency response services including truck or tanker incidents, ruptured tanks, leaking lines, drums or cylinders, train derailments, and much more. A representative is onsite within one hour plus the time required to drive to the site of notification to conduct a site inspection for formulating accurate response plans including the identification and designation of contaminated zones, staging areas, decontamination areas, site access and travel areas, and the location of fire, police and ambulance services. If necessary, the representative will develop logistics for the emergency relocation of nearby residents.Waste management
Waste Solidification and Disposal
A&D’s facility is advanced in the handling of non-hazardous material including bulk solidification, blending, or recycling. Our stabilization unit is enclosed and operates year-round with a capability of accommodating material in excess of 150 tons daily. A&D manages stabilization of non-hazardous waste streams for numerous industrial clients by providing full stabilization of material utilizing a wide array of media to provide the most cost effective means for controlling the waste steam and disposal costs. A thorough study of waste streams reveals the most appropriate means of stabilization, reducing your costs and reducing impacts to the Subtitle D Landfills used for disposal.
eWaste and Universal Management
A&D provides cost effective disposal and recycling options for electronic items such as computer equipment, batteries, phone equipment, copiers, printers and fax machines. A&D will redirect your universal waste from the landfill to one of many recycling facilities.
Industrial By-Product Management
We provide industrial by-product management for plating operations. With our in-house expertise, we can help delist the waste material from a hazardous material to a nonhazardous material for recycling.
