A-Lima - Microfiltration Membranes
This is a filtration on porous membranes with relatively big pore size of 0,2 – 10 microns, low pressure of 0,1 – 0,3 ?P? and high flux from few up to more than ten m3/(m2*hour).
A-Lima - Nanofiltration Membrane
This a membrane filtration method where is used the pressure drop between two sides of membrane with pores less than 2 nanometers. Nanofiltration is lead with pressure between 10 and 30 bars.
A-Lima - Reverse Osmosis System
This process gives a possibility to concentrate product, i.e. to remove the part of water from the food product. This will enable to preserve the food, raise a total solids content, decrease its weight and thus reduce transportation, storage and distribution costs.
A-Lima - Electrodialysis
Electrodialysis is an electro-chemical separation process where the ions pass through an ion exchange membrane by means of the direct voltage. There is an effect of anions and cations migration in the direction of the corresponding electrodes under constant voltage, due to the relatively high content of dissolved salts in the cheese whey. When the ions are removed from the solution this becomes demineralized step by step up to the desired level.
