AB Arex products

The AREX range of fans comprises centrifugal, roof-top and axial flow fans designed for handling air or gases that are corrosive or dust-laden. The fans are made of materials such as PVC, PP, PE, PVDF and GRP. The material used for a given application depends on factors such as resistance to chemicals, heat resistance and strength. A full range of accessories is available for all fans, which enables us to offer a comprehensive fan system.

The fan casing is made of GRP (polyester) and gives an optimal impact protection and enables a long lifetime against aggressive gases. The vertical ventilation outlet with high air speed reduces the risk that evacuated gases will fall on the roof.

Plastic fan type LCPA is made of various plastic materials: PP, PPS, PVC, PPS-el, PVDF and GRP - glass fibre reinforced polyester or vinylester - with straight radial blades. LCPA ist made in nine sizes, direct or belt driven.

An important part of the Arex range of plastic ventilators is manufactured of GRP, glass-fibre reinforced polyester or vinylester.

Plastic fan type LCPS-071-10-6-1 ready for delivery. Dimensioned for flow rates of 20.000 m/h and total pressure up to 650 PA, has a motor of 11 KW and intended for control with static frequency changer. The casing of the fan is of rigid PVC and the wheel of GRP. Splinter protecting cover of EPDM.

Pollutants from an industrial process may sometimes be toxic or otherwise harmful to people and the environment. Gas scrubbers are designed to remove water-soluble pollutants from air streams by absorbing the pollutants into circulating water which possibly also contains various chemical additives that improve the collecting efficiency. The scrubbers are made of various plastic materials selected to suit the corrosiveness conditions and the thermal loading. A vertical scrubber made of PE to remove different acids such as formic acid, hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid from the air stream. Neutralization by caustic liquor.

CorroClean® DSS is designed for low rates of air flow i.e. up to 1500 m3/h, and incorporates a droplet eliminator. It is designed for connection to fume extraction cabinets and workbenches used for work on chemicals. Made of PVC or PP. Chemicals are widely used in schools, institutions, hospitals, laboratories and industry, and the vapours and fumes emitted must be extracted from the workplace. The task of the wet scrubber is to prevent the emission of pollutants to the outdoor environment.

Complete duct systems for bonding and welding are supplied under the trade name CorroVent®. Circular ducts as well as a wide standard range of duct fittings are available. Rectangular ducts and special parts are manufactured to the specified dimensions. Materials: Rigid PVC, PPS/PP and other plastics.

The CorroClean® EFT-020-2 system Droplet eliminator is supplied ready for installation. The droplet eliminator is made of PVC or PP and is intended for general air engineering systems, for process plants and for cleaning air, e.g. to remove chromic acid. The EFT-020-2 can also be equipped with a flushing device. It is available in twelve sizes. The CorroClean Droplet eliminator is also produced in a larger, special version.

Sub-contract work and installation to the customer´s drawings are carried out in any thermoplastic and glass-fibre reinforced polyester/vinylester (GRP). Typical examples include tanks, apparatus and systems for the surface treatment industry and the electronics and chemicals industries. Thermoplastics such as PVC, PP, PE, PVDF and ECTFE. Customized casings, containers, pipes and structures are made of GRP, glass-fibre reinforced polyester/vinylester. Installation is carried out mainly of the company´s standard range in air and energy engineering. But we also undertake installations in other sectors.
