RPMIII DC Motors feature a laminated frame design which provides for more power, reliability and serviceability in a smaller package. The field proven laminated frame improves commutation and heat dissipation, and requires less mounting space than conventional designs. Choose from our complete line of enclosures including: Drip Proof Guarded (DPG), Drip Proof Guarded Force Ventilated (DPG-FV), Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC), Totally Enclosed Non Ventilated (TENV), Totally Enclosed Explosion Proof (TEXP), Totally Enclosed Air Over (TEAO) and Totally Enclosed Dual Cooled (TEDC). A variety of ratings, enclosures and voltages are stocked through 500HP and custom designs are available with a wide variety of modifications to meet your specific application requirements.

Round frame SCR rated DC motors feature a rugged rolled steel frame designed for long life in industrial applications. Our round frame designs are direct replacements for competitive motors of similar design construction. Stock and custom motors are available in a wide variety of enclosures including drip Proof Fully Guarded (DPFG), Drip Proof Blower Ventilated (DPBV), Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC), Totally Enclosed Non Ventilated (TENV), Totally Enclosed Air Over (TEAO) and Totally Enclosed Unit Cooled (TEUC).

Model Chassis - Drives

A chassis mount, adjustable speed DC Drive for motors between 1/100-3/4 Horsepower. The speed control is designed for 90 VDC PM & Shunt motors. Speed range can be 50: 1 along with load regulation involving 1%. Features include: AC Line blend and Armature Join holder, Auto Inhibit®, Voltage Subsequent, MOV transient defense, 5K speed pot and trimpot corrections for Min, Utmost, Accel, Decel, IR along with CL. Includes Auxiliary heat sink, Barrier Terminal Mother board, RFI/EMI filters along with Signal Isolation (model SI-6).

Model NEMA-1 - Compact Control Packaged Drives

A compact control packaged in an all metal NEMA-1 enclosure. This unidirectional SCR drive utilizes a speed control module which prevents motor failure due to demagnetization, and contains AC line and armature fusing as well as a barrier terminal connection block. Plug-in Horsepower Resistor automatically calibrates IR Comp and CL.

Hazardous Location Motors

Baldor`s extensive line of Division 1 Explosion Proof motors are designed and built to contain an explosion inside and not propagate it into the surrounding atmosphere. Aproval listings are avalable for Class I (Gas) and or Class II (Dust) hazardous enviroments. Suitable for fixed speed, sine wave only operation.
