The Air Shower Tunnel from WEIBER is a protected passageway that allows the user to pass into controlled environment free from surface contaminants. these are designed to provide sterile air streams for the removal of dust and contaminating particles from the clothes and skin surfaces of the user as he/she stands in the tunnel or walks through it.They provide the maximum decontamination solutions for particle sensitive processes and other research applications requiring highly sterile working conditions.

The Personnel Air Shower from Weiber are fully self-contained units, designed to provide complete decontamination solutions for various clean room applications. They are ideally installed at the entrance of a clean room or controlled environment chamber to minimize the entry of dust and particulate matters inside the clean room via the clothes and skin surfaces of the personnel. Our Clean Room Air Shower feature programmable operating modes for flexible application and microprocessor based controller for precise supervision of the operating parameters. They use highly efficient pre-filters and HEPA filters for maintaining highly sterile working environments and an integrated fan/blower assembly to provide high velocity air streams for maximum scrubbing action against dust and particulate matters adherent on the exposed skin, clothes and material surfaces.

Essentially these tunnels spray a mist of sodium hypochlorite solution, a chlorine compound often used as a disinfectant or a bleaching agent, as you pass through them. Sodium hypochlorite is a component of commercial bleaches and cleaning solutions and used as a disinfectant in drinking and waste water purification systems and swimming pools. In 0.5% w/v solution, it is called dakin’s solution and used as an antiseptic to clean infected topical wounds.

Our sterile garment cabinets are manufactured in such manner so that these can have the highest degree of safety for both the users and for the products high efficient  HEPA filters are found in these cabinets. All these cabinets are carefully constructed and tested as per the requirements of the users. Clean room garments can accumulate particulate contamination during storage and between laundry washes, which in turn may lead to lower product yields and increased product quality issues. These cabinets are equipped with a blower and a HEPA filter in a fully contained enclosure constructed of SS-304 sheets, which will not shed particles or contaminate the environment of your clean room.
